Share Devi Jagadambi Temple Khajuraho, a town in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, located in Chhatarpur District, about 620 kilometres (385 mi) southeast of New Delhi, is one of the most popular tourist destinations in India. Khajuraho has the largest group of medieval Hindu and Jain temples, famous for their erotic sculptures. The temples are grouped into three geographical divisions: western, eastern and southern. The Khajuraho temples are made of sandstone. The builders didn't use mortar: the stones were put together with mortise and tenon joints and they were held in place by gravity. Share We decided to explore the Renukaji which is around 315 km from Delhi (6 hr), 95 km from Ambala (2 hr and 30 min), 95 km from Chandigarh (2 hr and 30 min), and 105 km from Dehradun. Renukaji is a mainly a religious destination.The main attractions were renuka lake having circumfrence of 2.5 km.and a Temple dedicated to godess renukaji,Confluence of river Giris. It is located in the southern part of Himachal Pradesh at a distance of 22 km from Nahan. Hotel Devicos plaza Can give you the best accommodation. The hotel offers a multi cuisine airconditioned restaurant,spacious and well furnished rooms,Bar and a river facing terrace cafe. There is also restaurant in Renukaji (the HPTDC's) and the food is OK, but... be prepared to wait for at least half an hour!
