Renukaji, Hidden Surprises in Himachal

We decided to explore the Renukaji which is around 315 km from Delhi (6 hr), 95 km from Ambala (2 hr and 30 min), 95 km from Chandigarh (2 hr and 30 min), and 105 km from Dehradun. Renukaji is a mainly a religious destination.The main attractions were renuka lake having circumfrence of 2.5 km.and a Temple dedicated to godess renukaji,Confluence of river Giris. It is located in the southern part of Himachal Pradesh at a distance of 22 km from Nahan.

Hotel Devicos plaza Can give you the best accommodation. The hotel offers a multi cuisine airconditioned restaurant,spacious and well furnished rooms,Bar and a river facing terrace cafe.

There is also restaurant in Renukaji (the HPTDC's) and the food is OK, but... be prepared to wait for at least half an hour! Else you can go to Dadahu village (4 km) before Renukaji, where there are some more hotels. You can also have Parantha with dal, achar and curd from the small hotel near the Office of the Watershed Development coordinator, 1 km before the Hotel Renuka.
