The Nest Cottages, Kilbury Road, | District Nainital, Pangot

“Explore the unexplored peace with undisturbed, serene with valleys, forest”I had a wonderful time with my family at Nest Cottages. That was the best decision to take a break from stressful life and hustle bustle of city and away from commercialised hills which are the only options we think of when we think of hills.
If you are someone who love serenity, who love hills and jungles and who just don;t want so much crowd but just undisturbed peace in hills then Pangot is a best hill station to explore. This place is still untouched and has its own charm, and Nest Cottages just added the comfort to that charm.
They are beautiful cottages with huge balconies to sit and gaze at nature and feel the cool breeze and hear the chirps of birds. Its a real experience with nature. Cottages are well maintained, services are excellent, food is just what you can ask for.
Its like a homestay, where every staff makes you feel at home and the food is just like home but the only difference you will enjoy more as you would not be rushing for work and have no time to enjoy ur meals. I would recoomend if you come here you take the MAP plan which includes your tea, breakfast and one meal.
Nest Cottage Kitchen has a beautiful concept of ask what you want. There are no menus. You just need to tell the head of Kitchen Mr. Bhagwat Ji who is just a super hero @Nest. He will cook for you with his full heart and i must tell you he cooks really good. Since i am foodie and i can completely recommend his food anytime. @Nest you can ask for whatever you want to eat just that you need to tell them on time and they will arrange and cook as per your need and as per your taste. We had a wonderful time eating there. We tried from Poha, Cutlets, Omlettes, paranthas, Fruits, Poori Sabzi to Bindi, Gobhi, Palak, Soups, Kheer, Chinese, Indian, Fresh Salads and what not. And everything cooked was just awesome and a wonderful presentation to ask for in such a remote place.
Once you are here, you will never forget to mention Bhagwat Ji for his speciality in cooking style. He cooks good and he treats you good.
Apart from that cottages are really good. We stayed in Cottage 1,2 and 3 and they were beautifully located facing hills and jungles. Though monkeys could be quiet irritating in morning but nevertheless when you want to be part of nature then you need to love all this.
We had beautiful evenings in balcony which we chilled out with drinks and snacks though you need to carry your own drinks as they don;t serve any drinks. But you can ask them for snacks and services, they would do whole heartedly.
Yeah last but not least Nest is an eco friendly place, so they don't serve any non veg so if you are a non vegetarian then you might miss that here but i still would say being a non vegetarian we didnt miss the non veg apart from our first day. You would feel content with Bhagwatji's cooking skills. And if still u miss that, then you can always drive down to nanital which is just 45min drive and enjoy the mall road and the non veg at Boatclub.
Overall the place is nice, very beautifully located with no phone signals, no tvs just you with nature.
Enjoy!Room Tip: Ask for cottage 1,2, 3 or 4
