V Resort Sattal, Surya Gaon | Sattal Lake, Nainital
Finally we reached Sattal lake and from there we were received by Vresorts jeep. it was 5 min hilltop drive from lake to the resort. You can't drive if you dont have 4 wheel drive.
Finally we reached V resort Sattal and to our surprise, it was a beautiful resort all landscaped with forest, facing 7 lakes. The whole resort has beautiful landscapes, big lawns and all green.
Even the resort interiors are done with taste and elegance. As we reached around 3:00 we decided to have our lunch and then explore our room on the first floor Deodar cottage.
To our surprise we were treated to a sumptuous and lavish lunch. We just enjoyed the food to our fullest and then we moved up to our room. Rooms were big and well furnished. all rooms on this floor had big balcony facing lake. We enjoyed our room view.
bathrooms were cosy as the direct sunlight peeps in from early morning to evening. The rooms had electric blankets which made the winter nights more enjoyable.
we had good time exploring the property and the views around. The food is awesome, Manager francis is nice gentleman, staff is very cooperative and offers excellent service. You can enjoy your breakfast in warm sunlight, you can laze around throughout the day in the lawn, also you can play with badminton.
in evenings we used to enjoy sigri in our balcony with drinks, fresh salads and barbeque. All meals were excellent and very well cooked, when you come here you should take all 3 meals as there is not much of the options around to eat.
The best way to explore the place is to take nature walk around the jungle. And just laze and enjoy nature to fullest.
Sattal has nothing to offer apart from beautiful nature views. Its best to come in winters and preferably in group so that you can enjoy the property to the fullest.
if you are 3 family, then recommend you to go for taruvar cottage.
We loved our stay away from maddening crowd. And opening your eyes from bed to beautiful mountains and that too in cosy beds is just awesome.
