Located 53 km to the north of Almora, Kausani, is a picturesque hill station famous for its scenic splendor and its spectacular view of the Himalayas. Flanked by the rivers Kosi and Gomti, this small town sits atop the Pingnath Peak. Though Kausani is not as well known as any of the other hill stations, the area is full of deep and dense pine forest, tea gardens and affords a breath taking view of the Himalayan peaks of Trishul, Panchchuli and Nanda Devi. Major attractions around Kausani are the Temple town of Bageshwar situated at the confluence of the river Sarayu and Gomti, the Gandhi Ashram and the Rudradhari falls and caves.

Pangot, A small paradise, Nanital Pangot is a village in the Kosiyakutoli tehsil of Nainital district in Uttarakhand, India, and a tourist destination at a height of 6,300 feet.  Pangot is located about 13 kilometers from Nainital, which is a popular hill station. The drive to here passes through the forested area of Cheena Peak Range via Snow View Point and Kilbury, which are birding spots. The main attraction of Pangot are its birds; around 580 bird species have been recorded in this area. Palampur Just the right place to go when you want to get away from the hustle bustle of life....tucked away pretty in Nagari Palampur....this is the best place to go when u wanna unwind...go for long walks...live in a place with picturesque surroundings....catch up with some good reading. Superb landscapes such that one does not want to take eye off it even for a minute. The property is very very nice. It is a bungalow which has large spacious rooms n washrooms with great views. Though you do not have much of a choice with food...the cook, who is a local elderly gentleman..makes some delicious food and is more than happy to cook as ordered. A great experience!!! It is Rajasthan's closest palace from New Delhi, situated at 122 kms. on the Delhi-Jaipur highway - only 100 kms from Delhi's international airport.
